Bible Studies:

:

I will meditate on Your precepts,

and contemplate Your ways.

Psalm 119:15

Tuesday evenings we meet at the church from 7:30 - 9:00 pm to study God's Word (varies, check schedule first). All are welcome.

Prayer Gatherings:

Charles Spurgeon said “Prayer girds human weakness with divine strength, turns human folly into heavenly wisdom, and gives to troubled mortals the peace of God. We know not what prayer can do.” The Scriptures tell us that the Lord always hears us and answers our prayers according to His wisdom and will. Assured of this, we desire to be a church that prays without ceasing for one another, as well as for the furtherance of the gospel in Woodhaven, Queens, New York, and the world.

Men's Ministries:

We believe it is essential for men to be godly leaders in their homes. To assist we have monthly men’s breakfasts and small men's discipleship groups. We also have special gatherings and training throughout the year. See the calendar for specific dates and times.

Women's Ministries:

Every month we have a ladies' Bible study - where the Word of God is taught and discussed. We also hold ladies' teas and other special gatherings throughout the year. Please see the calendar for times and locations.

Children's Ministries:

We want to help parents in training up their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Children ages 4-6 are welcome to remain with their parents during the service or they can attend kids' class during the sermon (when offered). We also have a short class for children after the service where we review the sermon and teach catechism.

Evangelism & Community Outreach:

For I am not ashamed

of the gospel of Christ,

for it is the power of God

to salvation for everyone

who believes,

for the Jew first

and also for the Greek.

Romans 1:16

GBC has a burden for the lost. We know, experientially, the love of God and the power of the gospel – and our desire is that others would too. We know that God can save even the hardest of sinners. So we get the gospel out to the community in a variety of ways.
